Million-year-old remains of a mammoth were recently discovered in Austria! On the route for the northern highway in Lower Austria, geologists found two tusks, one and a half meters long, and some vertebrae, which are probably around a million years old and very well preserved. In all likelihood, the remains do not belong to the classic woolly mammoth, but only possible additional finds will really help determine the type of mammoth found.
