"Mixed" family portraits remind us that sometimes we don't even realize how similar we are to our closest ones.
With more than 7 billion of people in the world, the diversity of the human face is immeasurable. Despite the near-guaranteed endless permutations of eye colors, nose lengths, hair structures, and lip curves, there are quite a few people in the world who can be said to be somewhat or even very similar to each other.

Some of them are related, some are not. Croatian photographer Ino Zeljak combined his interest in said differences and similarities into a series of photographs that highlight the uncanny similarities between family members (and even friends) and called it "Metamorphosis". In the project, he artistically combined photos of his best friends, parents and siblings with the help of Photoshop. With some, you could tell at first glance that it's one person, not two, right?
