It is the structure of the modern Benahavís house near the Spanish coast, which allows the use of a steep slope, that characterizes the entire residence!
Benahavís House occupies a steep slope of the Spanish Costa del Sol region. And at the architectural office Fran Silvestre Arquitectos used this very challenging terrain as inspiration for the design of the home. The cantilever of the upper level, i.e. above the slope, is supported by a single supporting element, which is placed perpendicular to the hill. This element includes the technical and service areas of the residence, and also allows access to the lower level where it is located garden with swimming pool.
The main living spaces are located in the upper level of the house, where they are in the center of the bedroom, and common areas on the side. Glazing along its entire height, it is designed in such a way that the view to the north and south is used.
It is the structure of this house, which allows the use of this plot, that characterizes the entire residence!
