Moia is a Berlin-based mobility startup that is 100% owned by the Volkswagen Group. They presented their vision of a fully electric van that has enough space for six people. The concept was developed in only ten months of cooperation with Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles.
At Moi have developed concept with the aim of reducing congestion in densely populated cities with a new mode of mobility. They have set an ambitious goal to remove as many as one million cars from the roads. They want to achieve this by using their concept van, which would transport people around cities and thus convince them to leave their cars at home. Moia's vision is not just an idea, it will go into use against end of next yearwhen it will be on the streets Hamburg passed 200 of Moia's vans.
