Swiss watches are a concept of accuracy and a Swiss landmark, so it was only a matter of time before one of the local manufacturers decided to make a smart watch. Perhaps surprisingly, this is not Swatch, but fashion watchmaker Mondaine. Helvetica No. 1 is therefore an apt name for a smartwatch that looks more like the classic, analog watches the Swiss are known for than smartphones, as is common practice.
Smart watch Mondaine Helvetica No. 1, the first from Switzerland, remains faithful to the classic look, but the analog mechanism has been replaced by wearable technology. From the outside it is therefore a watch stainless steel, with a white dial, sapphire glass, which is more than twice as resistant to scratches as e.g. glass Gorilla Glass, which mostly protects smartphones, and the whole thing (around our wrist) is rounded off by a soft leather strap. What makes it smart and not analog is the following (in part, this is already revealed by the mini dial). It is activity tracker and sleep tracker, which uses a platform to communicate with a smartphone MotionX.

Mondaine Helvetica No. 1 definitely sets a new standard between smartwatches and among them, it brings probably the only thing they lacked, which is elegance. The shape of the dial was taken from the famous Swiss wall ones hours from the train stations, but as the name suggests, it is also there Helvetica font. The price is not yet known, but we can expect it once on the market in the fall of 2015.
