It looks (almost) like an iPod Nano, but it's not. Motorola is no doubt flirting with Apple's baby, but nothing more than that. Behind the 1.6 inch touch-sensitive LCD screen(s), 8 or 16 GB of space for playing MP3s is hidden in the face case, while the main trump card is always hidden up its sleeve. It's a GPS-based personal trainer that records results for running and cycling, whether it's at the gym or out in nature. Parameters as expired or route ridden, (average) speed, calories burned, etc. can be stored on Motorola's server. The device also remembers the music that "motivated" us the most and plays it according to the type of exercise. We will be pleased with the automatic adjustment of the screen brightness to the given conditions. MotoACTV is scratch resistant (Corning Gorilla Glass) and moisture (sweat, rain, ...), it can wirelessly connect to other devices: a heart rate sensor or a mobile phone (Bluetooth 4.0) to receive calls and SMS. Of course, the Android OS takes care of the ongoing management.
Price: about 250 euros for the 8GB model, available at www.motorola.com
