Peter Chou, former director and co-founder of HTC, continues to explore virtual reality technology with a new project called XRSPACE. With the MOVA head-mounted VR system and its very own virtual world, MANOVA, they want to become "pioneers of the next generation of social reality".
MOVA boasts connectivity 5G, LTE and Wi-Fi, with a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor and 6 GB of RAM. Despite all these features, MOVA is still supposed to be 20 percent lighter than other VR systems. The elegant VR head system can be easily attached to the head and we can already explore the world of MANOVA no wires or controllers.
What exactly is MANOVA? MANOVA it is a social VR platform and "a world that celebrates a sense of belonging". You can start by creating your avatar with a selfie, and the program will then create a full body that matches your best self. Once you have an avatar, you will be able to "navigate" the virtual world with your own hands. You will be able to someone shake his hand, give him a high five, you can clap ... MANOVA has both private spaces and public places that you can explore with others. So you can you entertain with friends at home, enjoy a private cinema, work together … You can leave to the city, you meet new friends in the club, you can challenge them to a duel with games, etc.
In the virtual world, however, there is no shortage of threads wellness and activities, such as yoga and cycling. It also includes dedicated spaces for work or study, where we can meet and talk face to face even when reality does not allow it.
You can pre-order the MOVA VR headset, estimated price is approx 600 euros.
