The film is based on real events from behind the scenes of the golden era in Formula 1, in which the eternal rivalry between the English driver James Hunt and the Austrian legend Niki Lauda lasted in the 70s of the 20th century.
While James devotes himself to fame and money, Niki dedicates herself to the race tracks. And when Lauda suffers a horrific accident in Germany in 1976 that almost takes his life, James is awakened to compassion for his rival. But just a few weeks after that, Niki is already behind the wheel to challenge his rival again.
