Demolition is an American drama directed by Jean-Marc Vallée, who last served us with the movie Wild. The main role went to Jake Gyllenhaal, who after the films Southpaw, Nightcrawler and Enemy plays a slightly less snarky character, although the title suggests otherwise. Demolition is a drama about a successful investment banker Davis (Jake Gyllenhaal), whose world turns upside down when his wife dies in a car accident before his eyes. Despite pressure from his son-in-law Phil (Chris Cooper), to compose himself, however, Davis sinks deeper and deeper.
