The seventh art, i.e. movies, is steeped in legends, magic and dark forces, and the fight between good and evil is its magic formula. Therefore, the Seventh Son continues where Harry Potter and The Lord of the Rings left us, in a magical world where, in addition to swords, spears, spells, etc., morality and allegory abound. The fight between humans and witches is still alive.
Seventh Son is epic the story of the last seventh son of the seventh son (Ben Barnes), who, expecting his fate, leaves the "nest" and quickly falls under the protection of the only survivor and slightly gray a warrior of a mystical order of noble knights (Jeff Bridges) who, after losing his last apprentice, searches the land for a prophesied hero who possesses extraordinary power.
Not knowing his own succession roles the last seventh son quickly finds himself in the middle of an already written scenario, where his place in the world is already predetermined. Because evil does not wait, there is no time for questions and wondering about his destiny, only for sword and fights, with the help of an experienced mentor who, as the seventh son, has been practicing this for many years. Pushed into the role of hero, v a daring adventure, now rests on it the burden of saving the world, which is a Godzilla-type leap (the creators of Seventh Son were also the creators of the last reproduction of this classic), given that he lived until now rural life.
