Movie Spotlight (2015)

Spotlight is a poignant drama that focuses on a team of investigative reporters from The Boston Globe who set out to uncover a scandal in the Roman Catholic Church. The contribution brought the journalists the Pulitzer Prize in 2003, and even earlier it forced the resignation of Bernard Law, the cardinal of the Boston archdiocese in which mass abuse of children took place. It is Michael Keaton's first film role after the movie Birdman or the unexpected quality of ignorance, where he is accompanied by Mark Ruffalo and Rachel McAdams, among others.

Spotlight is American biographical drama, its sensitive substances (read sexual abuse of children by Catholic priests in the Boston Archdiocese) and the director undertook Thomas McCarthy, who signed his fifth feature with this. The true story of the journalistic team of the "Spotlight" newspaper The Boston Globe they recreated Mark Ruffalo, Michael Keaton, Rachel McAdams, Stanley Tucci, Liev Schreiber, John Slattery (all as investigative reporters) and others.
