The cult film Trainspotting from 1996 is returning to the big screen after 21 years. T2: Trainspotting sees the return of the original cast both behind and in front of the camera. After director Danny Boyle released a teaser half a year ago, we now have the first trailer with brand new scenes!
A cultural phenomenon from the mid-nineties, Trainspotting, is getting a sequel in January 2017. In the movie T2: Trainspotting all familiar faces are returning to the screens – Ewan McGregor, Ewen Bremner, Jonny Lee Miller, Robert Carlyle and Kelly MacDonald as Renton, Spud, Sick Boy, Begbie and Diane – we also find familiar faces behind the camera, among which the director should be singled out in particular Danny Boyle.
The film is based on the proposal of the book Porn the writer Irvin Welsh, who also gave the second film his blessing, and also appears in the film again as Mikey Forrester.
