The House is a comedy about two parents who want to put their daughter through the university she wants, but after losing all the money they saved for her tuition, they do what (almost) any parent would do - they open an underground casino to get their hands on desired money. The film stars Will Ferrell, Amy Poehler and Ryan Simpkins.
The House is the story of Scott (Ferrell) and his wife Kate (Poehler), who want to make it possible by any means studies to his daughter (Ryan Simpkins; Roundabout, Single Man, Anguish) at the university of your choice, but with an associate's degree expensive tuition. But since they don't have money planned, they have to use it extreme measures, to scrape up the necessary amount and enable her to fulfill her dream. So, with the help of their neighbors, they open the cellar illegal casino, of course without his daughter's knowledge.
