The Legend of Tarzan is considered one of the most anticipated films of 2016. There are countless reasons for that, and that's without even watching the first trailer. The film was signed by David Yates, who already impressed us with the Harry Potter films (he directed the last four), then there are Alexander Skarsgård (True Blood, Battleship) as Tarzan, Robbie Margot (Suicide Squad, The Wolf of the Wall Street) as Jane, and Samuel L. Jackson (The Hateful Eight) and Christoph Waltz, who last played the main villain in the new James Bond film (Spectre). It is a modern version of a classic story that takes place far from the African wilderness.
The Legend of Tarzan is an action-adventure based on the fictional characters of Edgar Ric Burrough. It is set years after Tarzan (Alexander Skarsgård) left the African jungle, exchanged life in nature for the life of a mistress and began to live as John Clayton III, Lord Greystoke with his wife Jane (Robbie Margot).
