Welcome to Me is an independent film with a small budget, but a large and multifaceted story. This is largely thanks to the lead actress Kristen Wiig, who more than brilliantly plays a rather eccentric young woman with a borderline personality who won a multi-million lottery prize, gave up medication and, like Oprah, started her own talk show. Because she wants to be famous.
Welcome to Me puts a young woman in the center of the story (Kristen Wiig, Bridesmaids) who suffers from borderline personality disorder (BPD) or emotionally unbalanced personality disorder. If we just scratch the surface of the disorder, here it is volatile emotions, behavior and mood, to which we can also add volatile relationships with the environment and disturbed self-image.

But to reassure you. This is not some monodrama that will leave you with a lump in your stomach, but a well-rounded one comedy. Or better, a screwball comedy about a woman who, inspired by Oprah, buys or. force your own talk show, which is light years from what we're used to from the talk show queen.
In addition to Wiig, the actors also include James Marsden, Linda Cardellini and Wes Bentley, who we will be able to enjoy in cinemas from May 1, 2015 further.
