This week's musical innovations bring some old, but still well-known and popular names such as The Prodigy, John Legend and Maroon 5, and they are also joined by two fresher musical names - Guy Sebastian and Purity Ring.
THE PRODIGY – NASTY
More than five years after the release of their last album, The Prodigy are returning to the world of music with a new, sixth studio album, The Day Is My Enemy, which will be released on March 30 this year. Not to be too unexpected, here is their new single called Nasty.
JOHN LEGEND, COMMON – GLORY
John Legend joined American rapper Common, with whom they recorded the song Glory, the anthem of the musical accompaniment to the biopic Selma. The composition won the Golden Globe for Best Original Score at the Golden Globe Awards.
GUY SEBASTIAN – LINGER FT. LUPE FIASCO
Together with the new music video, the fourth single Linger, which Guy Sebastian recorded together with Lupete Fiasco for the album Madness, was released. Sebastian has already worked with Fiasco, we heard them in 2012, when their single Batte Scars climbed to the top of the Australian music charts.
MAROON 5 – SUGAR
After seeing Maroon 5's new album titled V in September, we can now enjoy watching the new music videos that accompany the tracks from the album. Here's the music video for the song Sugar, in which the band "invades" a wedding.
PURITY RING – BEGIN AGAIN
Megan James and Corin Roddick, known collectively as Purity Ring, have released Begin Again, a track that will be heard on their second album Another Eternity. It hits shelves on March 3, 2015.
