As part of the 62nd Ljubljana Festival, the well-known work Flowers in the Autumn will be performed on the stage of the Ljubljana Križanka for five consecutive evenings from September 17 to 21 - but in a slightly different way. The creators promise us an original Slovenian musical, and the role of Meta will be played by two Slovenian beauties: actress Maja Martina Merljak and singer Nina Pušlar.
Glorious the story of the Slovenian writer Ivan Tavčar we all know about the love between the peasant girl Meta and the urban Janez. Even if you listened more poorly during Slovenian lessons, you must have caught some scene from film directed by Matjaž Klopčič. This time, the famous story will be staged for the first time in a completely different way: as the musical.
The heroine Meta will be played by two Slovenian beauties: a seductive actress Maja Martina Merljak and a cute singer Nina Pušlar. The role of John will be played by a well-known singer Matjaž Robavs and a young talented baritone player Domain Križaj. They will still play in the show Jure Ivanušič, Ana Grasselli and Alenka Kozolc Gregurić, and of course they will contribute the most to the performance original music by Matjaž Vlašič and director Vojko Anzeljca.
The christening performance will take place as part of the Festival Ljubljana v Wednesday, September 17 at 8:00 p.m. in Ljubljana's Križankah, and they will follow her 4 more performances.
