MWC 2018: Lenovo with Yoga 730 and Flex 14 laptops

Lenovo presented two new laptops at MWC 2018, which 'sound like the name' Yoga 730 and Flex 14. Compared to the previous models, they differ mainly in a number of design corrections.

Which laptop do you prefer? More powerful Yoga 730 or cheaper Flex 14?

Yoga 730

Yoga 730 is otherwise very similar Yoga 720, which was released last year. Hers the touch screen is rotatable, so we can transform it into a tablet. The notebook case is made of aluminum.

Many people will probably be confused by the fact that the bezel of the display below the screen is quite thick. The laptop does not have a camera Windows Hello, and therefore offers fingerprint reader.

It will be available to users Amazon's Alexa assistant, which are otherwise enabled by built-in microphones Far-Field. In order for Alexa to listen to our wishes, the computer will have to be open and the user logged into the system.

Interestingly, the 730 will also be available in copper color. It is expected to be available for approx 740 euros forward. Sales will begin in April. You will be able to choose between 13- and 15-inch version.

Flex 14

Flex 14  with a 14-inch screen, it is the successor to a computer Flex 5. It is interesting that in Europe we will find it under the name Yoga 530. It is slightly less powerful than the 730. Nevertheless, it has many of the same specifications as the latter. It drives him i7 processor. Offers 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage space. It has a graphics card GeForce MX130.

Only the keyboard part of the notebook is made of aluminum. Flex 14 as opposed to Yoga 730 does not allow the use of Alexa.

The screen of the Flex 14 computer is also rotatable.
