Korean LG has never shied away from new and unusual ideas. He did not fail to do so even with the new LG G8 ThinQ phone, which was presented at the mobile phone congress MWC 2019. It is the first with a special camera that measures the distance and thus calculates the third dimension. This enabled greater security and a different way of managing the phone.
LG G8 ThinQ, which was presented at MWC 2019 in Barcelona, has a front-mounted camera with a ToF (Time of Flight) sensor, which, to put it simply it measures the time it takes light photons to travel to the facility and back. From this, he can then build a system of sorts 3D model of the motif. In real time, of course. That's right face unlock much more secure, because the phone cannot be tricked with a normal photo, which is only two-dimensional. The G8 ThinQ, however, will do well because of this camera can also be unlocked with the palm of your hand. The similarity of palm structure between two people, however, happens once in a billion.
In addition to security, LG's engineers also made it possible gesture control over the screen. You'll be able to rotate the volume knob and take screenshots without even touching it. The phone itself offers everything that a modern mobile phone should, from latest processor, to OLED screen and powerful sound, which is created by vibrating screen.

LG also presented its first phone for fifth generation networks, or 5G, which is already being installed in some parts of the world. LG V50 ThinQ 5G is an evolution of the V40 model. It differs from this by larger batteries (4000 mAh), newer processor (Snapdragon 855), faster charging and some other little things. It will also be possible buy a phone holder with a built-in additional screen, basically the same as the V50 already has. The dual screen is said to be fine for gamers, and for multimedia and multitasking.
