Adidas has unveiled the official ball for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil in Rio de Janeiro. They called her "Brazuca", an informal local term meaning "Brazilian".
Technology "brazuce" will be the same as the ball we can see in Champions League, but the new structure with the unique symmetry of six identical panels will provide better grip, touch, stability and aerodynamics on the court. Med 600 professional playersand from 30 clubs that tested the ball more than two years, there are also Lionel Messi, Steven Gerrard, Iker Casillisas and Zinedine Zidane.
As Gerrard says: "The first thing I noticed is the incredible lightness of the ball and the feel is fantastic!".
Design "brazuce" inspired by the vibrant colors, passions and heritage of Brazil. The championship starts on June 12 and lasts until July 13, when the grand final will also take place.
