ANAVRINE
The group Anavrin was formed in August 1999, namely at the initiative of Damir (vocals) and Matej (drums). Fantom was slowly joined by other members, after a few replacements, today the line-up is complete and has 6 members:
Matej Selan – drums,
Anej Kočevar – bass,
Marko Lavrič – guitar,
Anže Hvale – guitar,
Damir Lisica – vocals,
Grega Nahtigal – keyboards, special effects (sampling, looping).
From the very beginning, the group was primarily driven by the desire to create original music, which the boys presented to a close circle of friends after only a few months of the group's existence, and later the group gathered (urgently) necessary mileage all over Slovenia. The good response from the audience gave additional motivation for hard work, which later paid off.
The beginning of 2003 brought the group to a new challenge - to record their debut album. Producers Matej Wolf (studio H30+, Kranj) and Drago Popovič (studio Garbage, Ljubljana) made sure that the guys "squeezed out" their energy throughout the year, which is visible in all 14 tracks. The final product convinced the people responsible at Nika Records, who took them under their wing. As an interesting fact, we can say that the mastering of the records was done in Sweden, in the hands of the same experts who work with world-famous groups - Rammstein, The Cardigans... The debut, picturesquely and refreshingly named "Juice!", also marked the beginning of the group's breakthrough on the music scene . In the first two weeks of its release, the album achieved a surprisingly good response, which was reflected in the sales charts, as Anavrin with the record Juice! reached the 7th place of the best-selling records in Slovenia in June 2004.
The promotion of the album was reinforced with the single "Mi Laže V Obraz", for which a video directed by Jani Černet was also recorded. Short, concise and punchy, which is appropriate for a first single, and its message is also convincing, suitable for the time we live in, as it skillfully reveals the corruption and falsity of today's world. From the very beginning of the broadcast, the video spot occupied the 1st place in the program Videospotnice (RTV SLO).
The "Juice!" concert was followed by a tour throughout Slovenia and the recording of another video clip "Pri filosofiji", again with director Jani Černet. The good response and loyalty of the fans raised the spot to the very top of the chart of the show "Nikoli ob desetih" (with Peter Poles on RTV SLO), where it lasted a record 10 weeks, and it also won the show "Popovka tdena" on the radio station VAL 202 .
In the spring of 2005, they participated in the festival of Central European music groups in Graz, Austria (Newcomer 2005). Out of 108 applied bands, according to the expert jury, the Anavrin band takes 5th place, and Anej receives the award for the best bass player of the entire festival.
In the autumn of 2005, the group took on a completely new challenge, to shoot a video clip for the single "Kot 2 otoka" in their own production. Despite the extremely low budget, the video spot achieved the best response so far from listeners, it was also included in the short selection of video spots on MTV Adria and had a two-month power-play. At VAL 202, the song was chosen as the song of the week.
At the beginning of 2006, the group starts preparing new material in English, which it presents for the first time at the Newcomer 2006 festival (Graz, Austria). The energy on stage and the message of the songs convince the expert jury again, and this time Anavrin reached 3rd place.
At the invitation of the English producers (Ana Roca, Aaron Maguire and Duncan Sturrock), the boys go to London towards the end of the year. In the SAE engineering studio, they record the first part of the album, which by its sound indicates new directions in the group's development. The percussive track "Better U" is visualized in a slightly different style by director Mirjam Hlastan. Several concerts took place outside of Slovenia (Italy, Austria, Croatia, Greece), so the composition and video clip "Better U" were also presented to a foreign audience. Another special honor befell the band, when in June 2007 they performed on the same stage in the company of world-renowned music stars (Placebo, Queens of the stone age, Kaiser Chiefs) at the "Radar 2007" festival in Zagreb.
The years 2008 and 2009 were marked by the recording of the rest of the second album, which took place in the "Guga recording" studio with the help of Saš Gostinčar and in his own "Sick bastard" studio. The guys took the production into their own hands and did the entire recording and mixing process themselves, shaping their sound the way they wanted. The album is named "Atopic" with a hint of pun, and it contains 12 original songs and a remake of "Like a prayer" by the queen of pop - Madonna. Signing a contract with the young, ambitious record label "Sedwex" gave the boys an extra boost.
After the hit single "Better U" and the sensual ballad "Gola" in December 2010, with the release of the album, the playful "Cheduli" came to the radio and television stations, for which the arrangement was animated by trumpeter Luka Ipavec, who is also a member of Magnifico's backing band Turbolenza. A socially critical message and a parody of the fast pace of life we live, but at the same time we shape it ourselves, is uniquely and innovatively shown in the video, which was created by young, ambitious artists Luka Štigl and Gašper with a camera and marathon movement of a huge amount of children's Lego blocks Blacksmith.
In 2010, the promotional "Atopic" concert tour will follow...

NOORDUNG
The Noordung band was formed in the spring of 2009, when five young men from Idrija and Rovt came together. Despite the fact that the band is young, it has already played quite a few concerts and thus experience. Among the many with whom the boys played was Elvis Jackson, but only they taught them that the clubs are always bursting at the seams with energetic and positively charged music. The band consists of Žan Mlinar and Jaka Brelih on guitars and Tomaž Loštrek on bass guitar. Boštjan Vidmar takes care of the rhythm, and Urban Kodela will take you into the vocal world.

THE EIGHT
The story started towards the end of the 1st year, when we came up with the idea of having a band. As it goes, a rock band was born that remained nameless for quite some time. The heroes who make up the band are: Jernej Gal (drums), Denis Jakoša (bass guitar and finger technique), Jernej Jakob (left-handed guitar), Žiga Kerec (ordinary Les Paul, backing vocals) and Uroš Svenšek (vocals, tambourine, glasses ). At first we played covers, although we also played magic with original "pieces". There was also a lot of discussion about the name. We changed the working name of Google Generation to The Eight. The first noteworthy performance took place at the 2009 Pomurje Youth Festival, when we almost toppled the Mursko Sobo castle. Behind us are a dozen performances after school events, which we have already outgrown because we drink milk, and a performance at the 2009 Festival of Volunteering in Ljubljana. Now, well over a year later, we've acquired some serious equipment, built what those with imaginations might call a studio, gotten better, prettier and smarter, and are working on an album to be released on our website, which is still in the oven . Inside. There are 8 of us and we will crush you.

HAPPY FACE 92
We are a band called Happy Face 92 and we have been playing together for two and a half years. The group consists of Aleksander Ivanič (bass guitar), Črtomir Ščernjavič (drums), Luka Kavčič (electric guitar and vocals) and Maks rozman (electric guitar and vocals). We have a very varied list of original songs, which cannot be classified in just one genre, but we meet the conditions to perform at a music event. We have a lot of performances behind us, and we are just finishing the recording of the studio album called "Is This It?!". Music is a fundamental part of our lives and a pillar of our teenage years!
