Are you tired of the constant battle with flies in your home? Are you wondering how you can get rid of those annoying flies in a natural and effective way?

Flies can become a major problem, especially in the warmer months, when their presence in homes, workplaces and around food surfaces is not only annoying, but can also help spread bacteria.

While there are many available in the market chemical repellants, which promise a quick solution, many of them are full of toxic substances that can harm both human health and the environment.

In light of this, more and more people are turning to more natural and safer methods repelling these flying pests.

The solution is lemon peel

Lemon peel, for example, is great natural alternative, which is not only effective, but also affordable and easy to use. It emits a pleasant citrus smell that is attractive to humans, this same smell acts as a repellant for flies that do not like it.

This method is safe, easy

Peel the lemons, leaving the peel in large, uncut pieces. This allows the shell to emit its strong scent for a longer period of time, which is key to keeping flies away.

Take a shallow container - it can be a bowl or a plate - and pour a little water into it. Water serves as a basis for floating lemon peel and at the same time prevents flies from successfully feeding or breeding on the shell.

Place the peeled shell on the surface of the water. It is important that the shell swims, as this makes it difficult for the flies to access a dry landing area.

For better results, you can insert something into the shell of cloves. The aroma of cloves acts as an additional repellent that further increases the effectiveness of your natural fly trap.

Place them in places where the flies are most active, as they are kitchen, near windows, doors or on the terrace. This will ensure that the trap gets maximum exposure to the flies.

Check regularly lemon peel condition. When you notice that it is dry or when its effectiveness decreases, replace the shell with a new one.
