As part of London Fashion Week, the brands Speedo and From Somewhere concluded an interesting collaboration that bore fruit in the form of a creative artistic project. The collection, which is still in development, is made exclusively from leftover LZR Racer swimwear and will be sold for charity. Following the International Swimming Federation's decision to change the rules and ban the use of full-body swimsuits, there is a surplus of LZR Racer swimsuits that have broken records in the past. Together with the award-winning designers of From Somewhere, a group that recycles and gives meaning to scraps from the fashion industry, Speed decided to transform swimming scraps into beautiful new clothes. In addition, surplus LZR Racer swimwear has been offered to other arts and creative groups and institutions for use in various projects, ensuring that the suit will continue to make waves, even outside of swimming pools.
