Elan won the Gold Award 2014 for the Junior U-Flex concept, which consists of a new ski and ski boots for our youngest, at the biggest winter sports international sports fair ISPO in Munich.
In the development of a unique concept that will facilitate the learning of Slovenia's favorite sport, they were Elan especially pay attention to the fact that for the youngest it is very important that the skis bend evenly during the turn and thus make the turn along the side arc of the ski.
At the fair, which took place between January 26 and 29, more than 60 new models of Elan skis and more than 10 new models of snowboards for the 2014/15 season were exhibited on almost 370 square meters. In addition to ski models with key technology Amphibian Profile and the lightest women's skis in the world, this year's key focus was on the aforementioned technology U-Flex – children's ski line. At Elan, they are convinced that the idea of softer skis for children, for whom the turns will be easier and the acquisition of skiing knowledge will be faster, is the right one. This was also confirmed by the jury, which awarded the concept with a prestigious gold award "Ispo Award Gold Winner".
