The newcomer is packed with technology, has a completely new design both outside and inside and significantly improved materials.
Ford Focus is based on a new platform that enables more space inside, improves safety, upgrades aerodynamics and increases efficiency fuel consumption. The wheelbase has grown by 53 mm, which increases space in the passenger cabin. Focus is not only attractive to look at, because the entire study is behind it aerodynamics. This reduces the drag coefficient that is present at that moment the best in class. In addition, Focus lost 88 kilograms weight and thus reduced fuel consumption and the release of harmful emissions by 10 percent.
The new Ford Focus is full modern technologies. It offers an adaptive cruise control that has a stop function, which will make driving in traffic jams much easier. In addition, he knows Focus 'to read' traffic signs, keep the car in the middle of the lane and keep an appropriate safety distance from the vehicle in front. Improved headlights they anticipate turns and are already ready to move, even before we actually turn into them. Forward facing camera constantly inspects the roadway to 65 meters far and thus keeps the car in the middle of the lane instead of the driver.
It is worth mentioning as a novelty head-up display, which appeared in the Focus and in general in Fords on European soil for the first time. There is also a parking assistant, a collision warning system and a system for recognizing pedestrians and cyclists. From the already known systems, we have available a warning for vehicles in the blind spot, monitoring of cross traffic behind and turning the steering wheel to avoid a collision. Through the application FordPass Connect users will be able to view Focus functions via smartphones or tablets, lock and unlock the car and even start it remotely.
