The XF marked a rebirth for Jaguar, because after the successful X-type, it was used to catch up with the best sedans in the D-segment. The original XF thus also offered many breathtaking "features", such as a submersible automatic switch and air vents. The new generation Jaguar XF has the task of completely catching up with the German premium competitors, for which they turned to the field of aerodynamics, light construction and advanced technology at "Jag".
The new generation Jaguar XF it thus offers an upgrade to its predecessor's dynamic exterior image, while at the same time it is Jaguar's first model s full LED lights. In addition to design excesses, Jaguar XF also delivers exceptional low weight, which compared to the predecessor for 190 kilograms lighter, and at Jaguar they like to add that 80 kg more than the competition. The engineers also paid a lot of attention aerodynamics vehicles where, together with the aforementioned weight savings, they managed to achieve the lowest emission level in the segment, amounting to all 104 grams of CO2.
The meter shows a slightly shorter distance between the bumpers, on the other hand, a larger distance between the two axles, which should lead to a noticeably more spacious passenger cabin. This is also confirmed in the interior, especially in the area of the legs of those sitting in the second row, in which category the predecessor did not exactly excel. Inside is, as on the exterior, more sports press, although the emphasis on limousine comfort of the highest quality is still strongly felt. At Jaguar, they didn't even forget about the feature mentioned in the introduction, where, just like in the first generation model, when the vehicle is started, the extension of the center console rises round button, which represents automatic switch. Thanks to modern technological approaches, the XF is also richer for 12.3-inch touchscreen with very powerful hardware behind it.
It also brings a lot of new things infotainment system, which can recognize the route you are on (if it is frequent) and, despite the fact that you have not entered information about the desired route, helps you navigate, and also offers street view view final destinations. Besides, it might be his "home page" to personalize in the style of the owner's smartphone, or several of them (if there are several users). When leaving the car, the navigation will continue navigating via the smartphone.
The new XF is supposed to compete with the Bavarian competitor in the form of the BMW five in terms of driving dynamics, which (if it really happens) will put it at the very top of the class. The vehicle should achieve this with the help of a powerful chassis and suspension, and the driver will also have an adaptive suspension and a system that will be able to recognize the type of ground (snow, macadam) and optimize damping and the operation of the electronics. If desired, it will also be available for all engine versions advanced four-wheel drive, which is the work and fruit of the knowledge of experts at Land Rover. The engines are known from when they were still brand new of the XE model. Two-liter diesels come with 120 kW and 132 kW power. For the more sporty at heart, a three-liter diesel with 220 kW and as much as 700 Nm of torque and a three-liter V6 gasoline engine with 275 kW will take care of it.
