If anything, compact SUVs are extremely popular these summer days. Hardly a week goes by without us being introduced to something new. This time she hit Kia and showed off her adorable little one named Kia Stonic. And what can we expect from Stonic?
What these little compacts have in common is that they're small enough for the city, but big on design. If we add to that high position behind the wheel, we answered the question why these types of cars are so popular recently. And so it's no wonder that more and more people who until now have driven so much European hatchbacks, decides to buy crossbreeds between SUVs and smaller family cars.
Kia Stonic is based on a platform it shares with the charming Rio. The roof slats in contrast with the color of the roof are quite outstanding, and the front end with the new Kia mask and stylistically very pleasing lights is no less interesting. It's interesting that there are quite a few to choose from 20 different two-tone combinations of car roof and body. The designers have shown particular commitment to the measurement of space in the interior, as in this case the passengers have the most possible shoulder room in this car class. Rear passengers also have enough legroom and headroom. Thank you flat bottom, and even the passenger in the middle has a place to put his feet. For all that passenger space, it still has a trunk 352 liters volume.
The interior is of high quality and will withstand even the greatest test, i.e. the child in the back seat during his greatest destructive spree. It stands out on the dashboard touch screen, through which we manage the information audio system. Like all modern crossovers, the Stonic also has a bunch of assistance systems and aids, among which the most useful utility is certainly reversing. It monitors what is happening behind you, and if a vehicle or person is approaching you, the system will alert you.
In Europe they will be in favor Kia Stonic four aggregates available. Gasoline cars will have volume 1 liter, 1,25 liters and the largest z 1,4 liters of working volume. The liter engine will be additionally assisted by a turbine, and the final power will be as follows 120 horsepower. For diesel enthusiasts, there will be an efficient, 1,6-liter unit.
