At first glance, it does not look different from its predecessor, but it is immediately noticeable that they have been improved all parts of the car. The most noticeable and sky-absorbing is the front grille with the distinctive Mazda logo. The design philosophy emphasizes depth and gives a refined, dynamic look. The headlights are a real eye-catcher, and the fact that they will be in LED technology available from the basic equipment package onwards. It has the highest level of equipment adaptive LED headlights that consist of 12 segments that work independently of each other.

The interior is designed symmetrically with two notable parts. It's new projection screen, which now displays the image on the windshield and no longer on a standalone screen. The central screen with navigation is also moved higher, so that more concentration and field of vision remain on the road. The new radar cruise control now enables the feature Stop & Go, in which the car stops completely by itself and also starts completely by itself, naturally depending on the vehicle driving in front.

The already mentioned technology SKYACTIV covers aggregates, gearboxes, chassis and bodywork. All elements are made with the car's greater dynamics and economy in mind. It's brand new 2.5 liter petrol unit with cylinder cut-off technology. Desserts can also be counted G-Vectoring Control, which takes care of the dynamic control of the vehicle when driving through a bend. Smart is available for even more grip and off-roading four-wheel drive. Tremendous progress has been made in reducing noise both inside and outside the car. Acoustic windows, lower-mounted wipers and generous insulation are just some of the measures on the way to silence. The entire additional weight in the form of various sound-absorbing linings and improvements is just 45 kilograms, but there is still a difference in noise reduction noticeable.

It is a welcome feature to make everyday life easier recognition of traffic signs. The system also works in conjunction with the navigation system, and if the road sign is difficult to read, the system will automatically find the appropriate speed limit using the preloaded maps in the navigation system. The back door is now electrically movable, and their opening angle can be set as desired.

The most expensive is the version with a 175-horsepower diesel engine and equipment Revolution Top. The latter costs 39,790 euros.
