Today at 9 p.m. the presentation of the new MINI will take place on as many as three different continents. We got hold of the photos and data earlier.
The new MINI is not significantly different in design from the current generation, but it is still longer, wider and taller. The wheelbase is also longer, which means a more spacious passenger cabin and a 30 percent larger luggage space, which measures 211 liters. MINI representatives also add that, despite minor aesthetic corrections, the essence of the new generation of MINI is in advanced equipment, new technology and the BMW platform.
Installation of higher quality materials
The new MINI will be the first in the segment to offer front and rear lights with Full LED technology. Those who choose a higher equipment package can expect a huge 8.8-inch touch screen.
Three determined engines
It will be at launch the new MINI available with three turbo engines marked by the Euro6 environmental standard. This means economical fuel consumption and low environmental pollution. The most basic MINI will be powered by a 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine with 100 kW (136 hp), which consumes an average of 4.4 liters per 100 kilometers. The 1.5-liter diesel with 85 kW (114 hp) consumes 1 liter less! It is the most powerful MINI Copper S with a 2.0-liter gasoline engine and 189 "horses".
He comes to Slovenia in the spring
The price cute little MINI is not yet known. It can be mentioned that the base model in England will be sold at cost 18,240 euros.
