Racecar-like performance, lightweight construction and authentic driving feel is the recipe for the new Porsche 911 GT3, the most radical version of the 911, and its bond between everyday motoring and track racing is stronger than ever.
New Porsche 911 GT3 (2017) is the most brutal 911 to date. A key element of the upgraded is new 4 liter boxer engine. High-volume "atmospheric" with power 500 hp (368 kW) is taken from the racing car in an almost unchanged form 911 GT3 Cup. Reworked chassis with rear axle steering and lightweight construction were developed on the same test track and built on the same production line as the racing cars, making Porsche technology used in motorsport, changed to a sports car with road homologation.
It boasts an excellent weight-to-power ratio, that is 3.88 kg/kW (2.86 kg/HP). 1430 kilograms heavy two-seater can be with the help of a serial seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox (PDK) from 0 to 100 km/h shoots in 3.4 seconds, and the counter only stopped at 318 km/h. If you want a more primal racing feel, you can choose the sporty six-speed manual transmission option. In this case, it takes 3.9 seconds from standstill to 100 km/h, and the top speed is reached at 320 km/h.

The chassis position is compared to the model 911 Carrera S 25 millimeters lower. They also honor him excellent control properties, mainly at the expense of active steering of the rear axle, which, depending on the driving speed, directs the rear axle in the opposite or the same direction as the front wheels. This contributes to greater vibrancy and driving stability. The design of the car is subordinated to aerodynamics, which highlights both the carbon fiber rear air deflector and the vehicle's lightweight front end and air deflector, which are optimized for the best possible airflow. The driver of the Porsche 911 GT3 tames with GT sports steering wheel with a diameter of 360 millimeters. And since the 911 GT3 is traditionally a two-seater, the two seat wells in the rear are covered. Standard equipment in addition to the system Porsche Communication Management (PCM) also includes a module Connect Plus and the application Porsche Track Precision. This application allows the driver to display, recording and analysis of driving data on a smartphone. You can already order the car, and it will go on sale in the middle in June 2017. You have to pay the minimum for it 152,416 euros.
