Two months after the new Scenic, the new Renault Grand Scenic saw the light of day, a 24-centimeter longer version of the standard Scenic, which will be available with five or seven seats. The larger version was also fitted with 20-inch wheels, and the fourth generation of the Grand Scenic will be available before the end of 2016.

On the outside, it is decorated with chrome and dark metallic gray accessories, and its silhouette is dynamic and elegant. It is equipped with a wide range of driving accessories, including standard ones active emergency braking assist (AEBS) with pedestrian detection, which no vehicle in this segment can boast of. The fact that safety is in the first place is also proven by the technology, which is otherwise characteristic of cars with deeper pockets (Multi-Sense technology), multimedia tablet R-LINK 2 with an 8.7-inch screen and a color screen at eye level. They will be payable vertical digital display (Espace, Megane and Talisman already have one), and from security systems, among others radar cruise control and an inadvertent lane change warning.

Under the hood, the new Renault Grand Scenic does not hide any surprises. Renault reserved the same range of engines for it as for the classic Scenic, with the difference that it can also be driven with a Renault electrified Hybrid Assist diesel engine, otherwise the "old faces" will be available - gasoline engines TCe 115 and TCe 130 and diesel trio dCi 110, dCi 130 and dCi 160. The dCi 110 engine can also hope for help electric generator and 48-volt battery, which is fed from braking. The power will be transmitted to the wheels by a 6-speed manual transmission, only for the dCi 110 and dCi 130 engines will you be able to replace it with 6-speed EDC automatic transmission.
