Toyota Corolla has a 60-year tradition. The latest generation is already the 12th in a row, and they have been produced since 1966. At the same time, the Corolla is the best-selling car in the world, with over 46 million sold. That means they sell one new Corolla every 30 seconds. Its name could be translated as "leaves", around the very center of the flower, which illustrates freshness and neatness.
Toyota Corolla for many years he has been following the philosophy that strives for h quality, sustainability and reliability. They added to that emotions, as they no longer want to produce 'boring' cars. The Toyota Corolla was developed on Japanese and in Europe, and the European part was primarily responsible for development wagon versions. There are three body styles of the new Corolla. Already mentioned caravan, respectively Touring Sports, hatchback and limousine. A new one TNGA the platform gives the Corolla a longer wheelbase, wider tracks, a lower center of gravity and shorter overhangs. In addition, the new platform enables a better position for the driver, for 60% the rigidity of the body is increased, and the suspension is also improved by 40%. The novelty is also a dual hybrid strategy, as the Corolla will now be available with two hybrid drives.
From now on, the Corolla will be fitted with a brand new one 2.0 liter hybrid Dynamic Force engine with 180 (132 kW) horsepower. This will add some more driving dynamics to those who only missed it from the 1.8-liter hybrid engine. But don't worry, already familiar 1.8 liter hybrid engine with 122 (90 kW) horsepower is still available and has also been refurbished. In addition to hybrid engines, there is also a gasoline engine available, which has 1.2-liter volumes and 116 (85 kW) horsepower. It is also available in the limousine version 1.6 liter gasoline engine with 132 (97 kW) horsepower.
This time too, Toyota is paying a lot of attention security, and the new Corolla is equipped with a bunch of assistance and safety systems already serial and so it is leading in his class. The screens are also renewed, and we have quite a few available three. The med gauge is new 7-inch screen, and additional information can be read with 10-inch color projection screen. The infotainment system can be operated via 8-inch screen, with management on touch.
The new Toyota Corolla, in the hatchback version, is available from 18,200 euros further, and with a hybrid drive from 21,600 euros onwards, and starting prices for the Touring Sports version are for 900 euros higher. Limousine Corolla, which, among other things, is a bit more serious and restrained in the form of bumpers, it is available with a petrol engine from 17,900 euros further, and with the hybrid from 23,600 euros further.
