Jean Baptiste Moliere, the author of the most famous French satirical comedy Truffles, wrote his work in the 17th century and used it to expose the morally corrupt layers of society, which sacrilegiously invoked Christian values in their actions. In the play, Tartuffe presents himself as an impoverished country nobleman who is taken under the roof of Orgon, the head of a wealthy bourgeois family. He and the other members of the Tartuffe family are dragged by the nose with his intrigues until Orgon transfers all his property to him. The more than 300-year-old comedy still makes theatergoers laugh out loud today, and in its characters we can still recognize the characteristics of many individuals in the 21st century. There will be Tartuffe on New Year's Eve produced by SNG Nova Gorica and directed by Vito Taufer, on view at 8 p.m. in Linhart's Hall.

Patty Diphusa, Confessions of a porn diva, is a cabaret based on the erotic short stories written by the famous film director Pedro Almodovar for the Madrid newspaper La Luna in the 1980s. The stories and confessions of a vulgar, but at the same time gentle and simple girl from the fringes of society glorify everything that makes humanity human: sex, violence, but also love, romance and desires. Cabaret that will be in the CD Club on New Year's Eve at 9 p.m, was produced by Familije and MGL, and it will feature original music by the outstanding musicians Boštjan Gombač, Žiga Golob and Sergej Randjelović. Directed by Ivana Djilas, visitors can expect provocative and witty songs, cabaret-circus aesthetics and show pieces with unexpected instruments.
