It's been a few years since Nick Cave visited us. This time he's coming to Ljubljana with his energetic band Grinderman, which was formed three years ago from the core of The Bad Seeds. Warren Ellis on electric bouzouki, Fendocaster on violin, viola and acoustic guitar, Martyn Casey on electric bass and acoustic guitar and Jim Sclavunos on drums will provide top-notch support for Nick Cave's penetrating and recognizable vocals. Three years ago they released the album Grinderman, which surprised the public with its sonic immediacy and impact. In September, they announce the release of a new album called Grinderman 2. They will present their new album live at the concert, but there is no need to worry that we won't hear old hits. If it was recently believed that Cave's concerts were full of "safe melodies", this is no longer the case. The concerts are charged with energy and expressiveness that only he possesses, with the help of the top-notch band that surrounds him.
