As if the leaf was not a special enough model by itself, Nissan has now given it a special body color that glows in the dark. It is basically an organic coating that absorbs UV rays during the day and then shines for 8 to 10 hours at night. For now, the color is still in the trial phase, and they have not yet agreed on series production at Nissan.
Nissan has developed special coating for body paint which absorbs the sun's UV rays during the day and then at night it shines between eight and ten hours. This is the first example of the use of this kind of spread for vehicles for personal purposes, and the coating is made of a very rare material called strontium aluminometasilicate, which is completely of organic origin. Nissan claims that the solid coating, without color and odor, is very durable and that the car should be coated with it in the dark lit for at least 25 years. Nevertheless, it is not known for now whether the color serves only for PR promotion of the car, or whether they will actually start producing it and offer it to customers.

It is true, however, that Nissan likes to repeatedly play with innovations that like to disappear into oblivion. You still remember self-cleaning paints, whose serial production was announced in the next few years, that is, somewhere where we are now. Well, anyway, such a color would definitely be "cool" and useful matter, at least in large parking lots, where it would be yours even at night the car was much easier to find. At least until most people on the street don't have a similar car or paint job.
