Nordisk Alfheim: a tribute to traditional nomadic tents

Those of you who prefer to spend your holidays in the embrace of nature, or who like to take a short break in the style of Robin Crusoe over the weekend, probably swear by good tents, with small fireplaces burning in front of them, on which hot dogs or maybe corn are rotating. A comfortable and practical tent is your best friend on those days. And so is Nordisk's tent.

Nordisk, a Danish tent manufacturer, introduced the line Alfheim, these cotton teepees.

Alfheim, which is the name of one of the mythological Norse worlds, are tents in the most classic and recognizable conical shape that you can remember from Westerns, if not from elsewhere. Nordisk's tent is also very easy to set up, since the frame itself is actually metal rod in the middle.

The Alfheim line offers two tent sizes, the smaller accommodates 8 people, but the bigger one 19. The latter offers bad ones 20 m² area, and smaller ones are bad 13 m². If you opt for the larger, 'natural' version, you will also do something good for the environment, as the tent is dressed in natural cotton and polyester yarn, which together ensure an extremely pleasant indoor climate in the tent and excellent protection against bad weather. Alfheim tents have 'survived' tests even against high-speed winds 32 m/s.

A smaller version of the Alfheim tent costs 540 euros, and bigger 700 euros. For the one dressed in natural cotton, you have to pay a few euros more, namely 860 euros.
