Norton, a company known for the production of security software, got "into the pants". Together with the company Betabrand, they made a pair of jeans and a jacket with radio frequency identification (RFID), which will block fabrics in the pockets. This should prevent thieves from stealing personal information from identification or bank cards.
The project is a part Betabrand idea "think-tank", where new ideas are always checked with customers. Safe jeans that contain both radio frequency identification in the fabric on the pockets, they will thus bear the name of the manufacturer of the security software Norton. Just like on Kickstarter or Indiegogo, they will first customers get a discount. The jeans, which are a variation on the very popular jean model, caught a wave of interest fairly quickly, while the jacket didn't do so well.
