New Dacia Duster (2018)

The first generation Dacia Duster has been on sale since 2010, during which time more than a million of these affordable SUVs have been sold, which means that the Duster is also Dacia's best-selling model. The time has come for a new generation, and so Dacia surprised with the exterior of the new Duster even before its official presentation at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

It is known that the winning formula should not be changed. And they stick to it even at Dacia, it is the new Duster an evolution of something already existing and victorious. Nevertheless, the changes are noticeable and it is easy to distinguish between the first and second generation. The new Duster stands out with its behind, where we find eye-catching rear lights that are modern and stand out. The front part is not so drastically changed, but it is noticeable that the Duster develops into an increasingly likable car. Wider lights they make it stronger, and the modified front bumper now has a silver insert, which is made of special impact- and scratch-resistant plastic and resembles a protective "bar".

Other changes refer to silver roof arches and new designs 17-inch rims. The designers decided to take a bold step and move the Duster's windshield 10 centimeters forward and thus get a steeper glass drop. They are with this increased the sense of space inside, and the side silhouette was made more sporty. Most of the changes are expected to be in the interior, but what else is unfortunately not yet known. We will be able to discover the specifications of the engines and the completely new interior after the official presentation on Frankfurt Motor Show.
