New Mazda3: the connection between the driver and the car is the key

The latest generation Mazda3 has arrived on the Slovenian market. This time, it focused even more on people and enriched their user experience in the car even more. The new Mazda3 is in all areas, at least one step higher, compared to the previous generation.

The essence of the new Mazda3 is in connection between drivers and cars. The interior is human-centered, which updated the driving position, optimized the position of the gear lever and, with the philosophy of 'less is more', improved visibility in the passenger cabin. You can notice it right from the first contact with the new Mazda3 higher quality materials used and high level finishing touches. The driver's compartment is purified and offers a transparent surface where the minimum number of buttons and switches is required. In this way, it is easier to orientate ourselves, and our attention does not escape from what is happening on the road. We have available 8.8-inch infotainment screen, 7.0-inch a digital display between the gauges and a projection head-up display. Advanced navigation is now even more accurate, voice recognition has been improved, and Apple Carplay and Android Auto are already part of the standard equipment.

The new Mazda3 boasts a comfortable and quiet interior, where we get 8 speakers already as part of the standard equipment. If desired, the sound system can be upgraded with BAREFOOT sound system, which consists of 12 speakers and at this moment only, which is installed as part of the body. At the moment, Mazda is the only one cooperating with the audio equipment manufacturer even at such an early stage of car development. The new design of the front seats follows curvature of the spine, and with that increases comfort and reduces fatigue at the end of the road.

We are more and more impressed with Mazda's Skyactiv technology. The entire Skyactiv system covers connection between the chassis, the body, the tires and the seats inside. As part of the Skyactiv system, they also introduced the new generation Mazda3 new engines. Petrol Skyactiv G122 has 2.0-liter volumes and 122 horsepower. Mazda helps him in his work M Hybrid mild hybrid system that works on 24-volt electrical system and helps to lower fuel consumption. The diesel is also new Skyactiv D116 engine that has 1.8-liter volumes, 116 horsepower and low, diesel-friendly consumption. Brand new Skyactiv X181 engine that in itself combines positive features of the gasoline and diesel engine, will join the offer a little later. The SkyactivX engine will also use mild hybrid technology and have approx 181 horsepower.

The new Mazda3 is still about safety very emphasized. Already with the standard equipment, the driver gets a bunch of safety and assistance systems, but of course he can only add these upgrade. The Kodo design language, which means soul of movement, gives the Mazda3, in the cut-back version, sporty dynamic appearance. The limousine version makes an impression elegant limousines, but it is common to both purified and clean a design that has been stripped of all unnecessary lines and curves.

Even in the 'basic' version, the new Mazda3 will be full of additional equipment. The entry-level petrol variant will be available from 19,990 euros further, and diesel from 22,090 euros further. Plus and GT Plus equipment levels are also available, to which we can add Sound, Style, Luxury and Safety packages. All engines are available with manual or automatic 6-speed gearbox. Four-wheel drive will be available with the Skyactiv X engine, which already has better GT equipment at the base, and its entry price is 23,090 euros. The new Mazda3 can truly be called new, as it positively surprised and stood up to its competitors an even higher level.
