To prepare you only need banana, egg and oatmeal or oatmeal. If you're vegan, you can replace the egg with oat milk to achieve an equally delicious and healthy version of these pancakes. The preparation process is extremely easy.
Oatmeal pancakes
Ingredients
- 1 banana
- 1 egg (or substitute such as oat milk for vegans)
- oatmeal or oatmeal
Directions
- Mix a ripe banana, egg (or egg substitute) and oatmeal or oatmeal in a blender. Mix until you get a smooth dough. If desired, you can also add vanilla extract or cinnamon for flavor.
- Heat a pan over medium heat. Make sure the pan is well heated before adding the batter.
- Pour a small amount of pancake batter into the pan. Spread the batter to get even pancakes.
- Cook the pancakes for about one minute on each side until golden brown. Check if they are cooked by gently lifting them with a spatula and checking that they are nicely browned on the underside. Then carefully turn them over and cook for another minute on the other side.
- When the pancakes are cooked, transfer them to a plate and repeat the process with the rest of the batter until all the batter is used up.
