The Slovenian architectural office, Ofis arhitekti, completed the renovation of a traditional Gorenje barn, which was converted into an airy loft made of local spruce wood. During the renovation, the original exterior appearance of the building was preserved, while the interior was given a completely fresh look.
Med traditional sights The Slovene countryside also includes heating plants, haystacks and barns. Unfortunately, most of them no longer serve their original purpose and are left to decay or demolished and replaced with modern houses. To Slovenian folk architecture could survive - not only as a national symbol, but also as an integral part of Slovenian rural life - it would therefore be better to restore it. They are well aware of this at the Slovenian office Office architects, as they recently finished the renovation of the barn in Old Fužini, which was converted into a beautiful attic apartment. During the renovation, the original exterior appearance of the building was preserved, while the interior was given a completely new look. Barn, which used to be used as a barn for livestock and for drying and storing wood, is today modern loft, which impresses with the warmth of local spruce wood, exceptional airiness and a wonderful view of Julian Alps.
