The circle of friendship came to life in Bled in 1999, and ever since then people have been hugging Lake Bled at the end of the year. This year's event will be about the pursuit of a record. The organizer therefore engaged Slovenian Olympians and other athletes to enter the Guinness Book of Records with a chain made of human hands around a Slovenian pearl. Want to be part of the record? Circle of Safety and Friendship 2015 will be on wednesday December 30, 2015, in Bled. This year it will be in the spirit of the hunt for a record and in Olympic colors. The organizer (Turizem Bled, the Olympic Committee of Slovenia - Association of Sports Federations and insurance company Adriatic Slovenica) also invited to the event Slovenian Olympians and other athletes from the Club of Slovenian Olympians and candidates for the Slovenian Olympic team for Rio 2016, hence the slightly changed name: Olympic Safety Circle.
They will also light up Olympic torches, which they will each take in their own direction from Velika Zaka Brigita Bukovec and Jani Klemenčič, which will conclude the round on the Promenade (there will also be a program of the event). Everything will be spiced up with fireworks, while entertainment will be provided Ylenia Zobec with the band and devourer and fire-breather.

You want to become Guinness record holder? By participating in the conclusion of a (potentially) record round around Lake Bled (the organizer expects more than four thousand visitors) you also participate in a prize game, and the prize is selected products from the Olympic collection for the whole family, which our Olympians will wear at the upcoming Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro 2016.
