World Laughter Day, which is celebrated every first Sunday in May and fell on May 3 in 2015, got its day in 1998 when it was aborted by the laughter yoga movement in Mumbai (India). Today, Laughter Day, this positive and extremely strong emotion, is celebrated all over the world. Laugh to be healthy. Laugh to be beautiful. Laughter, this universal language, improves mood, is a pain reliever and relieves stress. Therefore, "take" it as many times a day as possible.
May 3, 2015 we celebrate World Laughter Day. The day is used by many organizations and institutes to promote laughter and health, and many laughter yoga exercises are held around the world. He was the initiator of the day Madan Kataria, also the founder laughter yoga movements (Laughter yoga or Hasyayoga), and its purpose is to spread laughter, connect people and sow peace and optimism. And because they say it is laughter is half health, is also the common thread of the day health promotion. Celebrations take place in more than 80 countries, including Slovenia, and there are already over 600,000 Laughter Clubs spread across all continents of the world.

It's a laugh universal remedy, which should not be missing in everyday life. But why all this need to push laughter, which is so self-evident, to the fore? Because research has shown that we are still in the middle of the last century laughed an average of 18 minutes per dayan, but today the number dropped to less than five minutes daily. The recommended dose of laughter to achieve its full spectrum of beneficial effects is otherwise from 10 to 15 minutes daily and in one piece. The drastic decline in laughing minutes lies in the fact that laughter began to equalize with material goods. Those who have little therefore radiate more joy, more optimism and more will to live than people who live in the developed world and are only happy when they get something. And why does yoga laugh? Because the body does not know when we laugh from the heart and when we practice laughing, so we achieve positive effects in both cases.
