In the 70s and 80s, so-called mopeds were a common sight in cities all over the world. At ONYX Motorbikes, they still remember those times and want to revive them, of course in a modern and electric version.
ONYX Motorbikes represents two motorcycles that have retro design and modern powertrain. The design is simple and clean, but still inspires us feelings of nostalgia. It drives both engines electric motor, which was developed in-house at ONYX. As they say themselves, vintage motorcycles are where it's at adrenaline meets style.
ONYX Motorbikes RCR oziorma "the Cafe Blaster" has an elongated seat and a metal frame, under which the battery is hidden. Electric motor with 72 volts of torque, launch a 'moped' from 0 to 50 km/h in mere 4 seconds and reaches a speed of approx 100 km/h. RCR has enough energy for od 70 to 120 kilometers a long distance, but it can also be done on field driving.
ONYX Motorbikes City or rather "the Free Spirit" illustrates more minimalist approach to the motorcycle. This allows the user to go quickly, comfortably and safely from one end of the city to the other. From 0 to 25 km/h accelerate into 5.4 seconds and reaches a speed of approx 50 km/h. Battery with capacity 16 amp hours has enough energy for 40 to about 65 kilometers a long way. A campaign to revive 'mopeds' as envisioned by ONYX Motorbikes is currently running on the platform Indiegogo, where your goal is already achieved, so we will be able to witness it soon 'retro moped'.
