Opening of the exhibition
tipoRenesansa, an international typeface workshop
Monday, March 12, 2012 at 7:30 p.m
The workshop does not offer a weekly asylum to misunderstood artists, who once prepared incoming aunties to certain ecstasy by drawing carnations, but now, for their own satisfaction and therapeutic purposes, they draw letters that will see as much of the world as the above-mentioned horticulture.
Likewise, they have no ambition to lament the low typographic level of the country and the world to a circle of believers. Their goal is to provide the profession with resources and knowledge sharing, and designers with useful font families that can be purchased online. Their method includes a week of measured workaholism, competent and engaged mentors and a proven set of Trenta cottage cheese. The workshop is not hermetically sealed, but the participants often pay a toll on the invented internal humor, which has not seen widespread approval.
The founder: Tomato Košir & Marko Drpić.
A mentor: Tomato Košir & Aljaž Vindiš.
Participants of the 4th workshop: Aljaž Vesel, Anže Veršnik, Diana Ovezea, Florian Runge, Katarina Medic, Teja Smrekar, Verena Manyet. Mentor: Aljaž Vindiš
