On October 2nd, the premiere of Rossini's opera The Barber of Seville will take place on the stage of SNG Maribor, which is considered by the audience to be one of the most popular comic operas of all time.
The opera about the exciting adventures of the shrewd barber Figaro, written by Gioacchino Rossini in 1816, always fills theater halls because of its sparkling humor, lively music and superb solo scores.

SNG Maribor promises us a new setting for The Barber of Seville, which will be on stage for the first time at the beginning of October, which will shine mainly because of the more attractive visual image and the direction of Piero Francesco Maestrini. The opera will be shown in cooperation with the Arena Foundation from Verona.
