The English mobile operator O2, together with designer Sean Miles, produced an ecologically colored case for the Windows Phone smartphone, which, except for the "skin", is made of grass from the rugby field in Twickenham, home of the English rugby team. He and O2, whose O2 Recycle division buys back old smartphones, are supporting the Rugby Union's (RFU) 'Try for Change' campaign, which aims to motivate people to recycle old devices.
O2's smartphone case Windows Phone, partially made of grass, is extremely pleasing to the eye and despite being a prototype, the smartphone is fully functional. Moreover, it is not an end in itself, as its ecological side sends a strong message to the world. With it, the mobile operator O2 joined the campaign of the English rugby union "Try for a change", with which they want to encourage people - by showing them that it has outdated technology great potential and that it can be recycled into something new, original and unique - that they recycle old devices.
