At the head of the band are the musicians from the film of the same name: Trumpeter Guajiro Mirabal, a virtuoso Barbarito Torres, trombonist Jesus “Aguaje” Ramos and guitarist and keyboardist Manuel Galbán. The younger generation of talented Cuban musicians is represented by vocalist Carlos Calunga and pianist Rolando Luna. This new expanded lineup of Cuban musicians will be joined by a top singer Portuondo cabinet, a member of the original Buena Vista Social Club lineup, whose album Gracias' won a Latin Grammy two years ago.
