& Other Stories Fall 25: A new fashion chapter with character – quiet luxury that whispers the future

Photo: & Other Stories

Under the direction of Jonathan Saunders, & Other Stories enters the fall of 2025 as a response to the fashion saturation of fast consumption. There is no shouting in this story – just a refined silence that speaks louder than anyone else.

While most fashion brands are still wearily chasing viral moments and TikTok likes, & Other Stories took a different path. A path with vision, texture and thought. Under the artistic direction of Jonathan Saunders, one of the most intelligent minds in contemporary fashion, the brand is experiencing a renaissance. Not a renovation – transformation.

The result? A collection Fall 2025, which is not just a garment, but a statement. Quiet, yet powerful. Subtle, yet resounding. In a world where everyone shouts, her decision to whisper is all the more courageous.

& Other Stories ≠ H&M

Before we continue, let's clear something up: yes, & Other Stories belongs in the portfolio H&M Group, but this is no longer a sister story. This is a sophisticated, cosmopolitan, independent identity with an academic touch. If H&M is the energy of the street, fast trends and mass reach, & Other Stories is a concept gallery – selected, curated, thought out.

It is a brand for women who read Zadie Smith, wear Comme des Garçons perfume, and know how to dress in a way that their silence speaks louder than their speech.

A new vision: the past as a muse, the future as a goal

Under visual poetry Oliver Hadlee Pearch, Fall 2025 is not just a collection. It is chapter of the first novel by a new authorThere is no room here for instant aesthetics, but for a thoughtful style that respects the past and invents the future.

Saunders describes his vision in two words: modern memoryThe collection draws on the iconography of the 60s, the audacity of the 70s and the undefined minimalism of the 90s. And yet nothing feels retro – everything feels new beginning.

Dress for life – not for posing

The fall collection is designed for real women. Those who live – not pose. Who pick up their child in the morning in a mohair nursery jumpsuit, go to a meeting in the afternoon in a technical nylon jacket, and go to an exhibition in the evening with red lipstick and a 70s-style bag.

Stylization? Layered, rebellious, form-conscious. A bomber jacket meets a structured pencil skirt. A cashmere-blend sweater is worn with a mini, and a luxurious wool coat is layered over it, as if stolen from the wardrobe of an older, ultra-chic French sister who works in a library.

Color poetics

The palette is not clichéd “fall.” It’s not pumpkin spice latte. It’s bergamot with black leatherWithin the color spectrum we find lemon yellow, ultramarine blue, shocking fuchsia, which gently cuts through Bordeaux, carbon, chocolate brown and mandatory black.

Silhouettes: tidy imperfection

If we had to describe the silhouette with a literary figure, it would be oxymoron. Slouchy, but polished. Messy, but completely intentional. Short skirts, sharp shoulders, long sleeves – they all speak the same language: “I don’t need your approval.”

Fabrics: tangible nostalgia

The materials are manifest. Mohair, jacquard, velvet, crocodile leather – all together creates a textural landscape that even an architect could happily admire. But at the same time: technical nylon, Italian wool, precision tailoring – add urban functionality.

Accessories: when the details speak

    • Glasses? Geometric, with a touch of Woody Allen, before it got complicated.
    • Gold jewelry? Massive, almost brutalist.
    • Bags? Bowling references and oversized teddy bags that give the illusion of relaxation to those who know very well what they are doing.
    • Shoes? Loafers and Chelsea boots that look like artifacts from London's fashion revolution.

Why does this count?

In a time when fashion often loses its meaning, & Other Stories has done something rare with a new vision – reinvented, What does it mean to dress with purpose?. This is not a collection that wants to please. This is a collection that wants to exist. And that's the difference.

When, where, how?

New collection Fall 2025 is accessible from September 2nd on stories.com and in selected stores around the world. If you miss it, no one will blame you. But your wardrobe – it will never forgive itself.

Final thought

When fashion slows down and takes time to reflect, stories are born. And if anyone can tell stories in stitches and scissors, it's & Other Stories. They don't scream – because those who know, simply they know.
