Panasonic has joined forces with a Swiss furniture company to create a new device that will brighten up your home Vitra and designers Daniel Rybakken. The trio managed to design a very special innovation that bears the name Showcases.
Vitrine is a futuristic device that combines transparent OLED screen, thin glass and wooden frame. A perfect piece of furniture constantly adapts to the environment, fulfilling two different roles. It can serve as technological element, which illuminates the room, creates a pleasant atmosphere and perfectly complements the other pieces of furniture. At the same time, it can be used as a completely ordinary glass showcase, in which you can store your favorite items.
The device, which was premiered at this year's Milan Design Week, otherwise for now not yet available to consumers, but it may very well be that this will soon change due to its unique concept.
